Nearly all of our competitors use a software package called Sage Instant Accounts for these courses. This is of no use to a Bookkeeper as it is known as single company software, so if a Bookkeeper had 20 clients he would need 20 versions of software. We train using Sage Line 50, this is the top of the range software and is known as multi company software, thus enabling you to set up several companies accounts. Our competitors use the fact that they give students a fully licensed version of software, but to give students an understanding in the difference between the two packages is easily done because of the price. Instant Accounts retails at around £110 whereas the Sage Line 50 Accounts retails at around £1100. So it is plain to see which is the better package.
